Cisco Indonesia’s boss goes blogging
Cisco Indonesia Managing Director, Irfan Setiaputra, launched his personal blog recently. He decided to use his own name for the domain name, irfansetiaputra.com, instead of official cisco’s domain name.

Indonesia has moves forward beyond blogosphere: the country already enters the new world, called web 2.0 services. Several user-generated content services already launched, and the country’s community responded to them enthusiastically.

Free Wi-Fi for Indonesia’s N-series users
Nokia Indonesia offers free Wi-Fi connection for N-series users by establishing a project called “1,000 Nokia NSeries WiFiZone”.
Nokia has teamed up with the three giant network and Internet providers, Telkom, IM2 and CBN. Nokia signed the joint agreement today with IM2 and CBN, after a similar agreement with Telkom two months ago.

Indonesia’s media goes blogging
Indonesia’s respected and influential media, TEMPO, launched its blog section in Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language) recently. TEMPO newsmagazine, which also published daily Koran Tempo, is the first mainstream media (MSM) in the country to venture into the blogosphere.
