Indonesia officials deny Mt Kelud erupted
Indonesia’s volcano centre said Mount Kelud in East Java has not erupted, as earlier reported on Saturday.
But the above photo showing the dark cloud shrouding the volcano in the background is seen by some as a sign an eruption is imminent.
Mount Kelud erupted killed at least 30 people in 1990, while about 5,000 died as Kelud ejected scalding water from its crater lake in 1919.
