PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) managed to book US$22.3 billion in market capitalization as of December 28, 2006.

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk., is the largest InfoCom company and full service and network provider in Indonesia. Telkom and its affiliated companies provide fixed wire line, fixed wireless, mobile service, data & internet and other multimedia services, and network & interconnection.

“This is significant progress,” said Harsya Denny Surya, Telkom’s Secretary, in an explanation to the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

He explained that Telkom’s Managing Director Arwin Rasyid was given the responsibility by the company’s shareholders of increasing market capitalization to US$30 billion by 2010.

Telkom, said Harsya, still had many opportunities in the future.

He explained the main focus this year was an increase in the company’s performance and consumer services for all product and service segments.
