From Bali to a digital world
Indonesia’s broadcast goes digital. By enacting Law No. 32/2002, the country’s broadcasting is going to adopt digital broadcasting. According to the Minister of Communication and Information Dr Sofyan Djalil, the trial for radio and television digital broadcast as well as digital TV in mobile phone is in progress.
Despite that it’s not officially disclosed yet, as seen in the trial, Indonesia will implement Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) technology for its digital broadcast solution.
